shrooms give one a shortcut to the knowledge that the universe and your spiritual self are the same thing. enlightenment on drugs is still enlightenment, but it comes with a price and is unable to be replicated. don't discount the profoundness of both psychedelics and meditation when it comes to spiritual experiences, especially if you haven't gone far enough to know that they take you to the same place in the end
