Bravissimi--Jussi if only there were more recordings of how you could get into character like this live; Simionato wonderful even though, yes, this was just 6 years before retirement. She was a phenomenon.

JB was able to bring more dramatic sound to this role than the more "heroic" voices. He did it though a lifetime of perfect singing.

Cuantos accedimos a la Opera a traves de Bjorling y cuantos llegaran en el futuro gracias a la gran difusion y las nuevas tecnologias. A 50 años de su desaparicion jussi Bjorling es aun hoy el mas grande tenor de la Hstoria junto a caruso y gigli.

@aurorazpiazu para que no te sientas sola frente a los pocos comentarios en castellano te cuento que soy de Buenos Aires y que una vez que Jussi Bjorling llega a tus oidos rapidamente cala muy profundo en el alma y sobran los comentarios y solo hay que disfrutar con la mas bella voz de la historia de la opera.
