Scarlett the brave and gentle kitty

This is a humble tribute to Scarlett the wonderful kitty mom that saved her babies from a fire. Recovered from her wounds, she was adopted by a generous and loving human mommy. I do not own those pics, of course. And I wish I could have met such a great animal!!

I remember this story from when I was a kid (I was born in 1963). Was this from the 1970s or 1980s? I thought she was so brave to rescue her kittens one by one. She was a hero. God bless her and her little ones., too. R.I.P. Scarlett.

I remember I had a book about this cat's story over ten years ago when I was a little girl. I still remember that story, and I think it was why I wanted a cat more than any other animal as a pet. Haha. Rest in peace
