The love of money is the root of ALL evil? Really?

Do you really think the love of money is the root of all evil? I don't think so. So is the Bible wrong? Am I arguing with the Bible? Or am I arguing with the translation of the Bible. Perhaps this statement is correct: "the love of money is the rood of ALL KINDS of evil". Makes sense now. Look at the greek word "Pas" and it's usage. It varies in meaning from inclusive all, to all as in variety.

Look at this example:


Act 2:17 KJV And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

All flesh? If this were true then everyone would have the gifts of the spirit not just Christians only. But look at the text. It shows that it's speaking of all kinds of flesh, old, young.

Be careful with the word all, many misunderstand scripture because they don't understand the concept that it was translated from greek to english, and word equivalents don't always exist. Clarity is needed in some cases.
