@ramjetr Yeah I just realised who you are ^_^ Yours used to be rear projection which I never much liked so I'd say it was a good replacment. It actually looks awesome compared to the original! I still say a CRT is miles better than an LCD though for these games -_^

@RetroRepair Heya, oh... that post was 4 months old. I was going to buy a twin cabinet and mame it. But the cabinet was missing a monitor and the other was broken. So I was asking if he'd ever looked into a suitable LCD for it.
I ended up getting another Touring Car DX and a Indy 500 DX and put new 40" samsung D6600's into them. They look amazing! Even mame/supermodel/model emu2 work fantastic. For wrecked cab's, putting an LCD in isn't a problem for me.

@ramjetr Why would he when the original monitors are still working? They will always look infinitely better than LCD. I'd only replace them when the originals go and there's no alternative.

Hiya, Great cabinet!!! looking to buy one of these to rebuild into a PC and emulate the model 3 games.
Have you looked into replacing the monitors with an LCD?

a great machine! i also have a scud race plus twin but everytime i turn the power on is goes from network checking to the choose your course screen. the attract mode does not show up. how come?
