Thanx. Yes, after crab cameras I got a new cam especially for gigs, in case I end up in a nose-bleed seat. Almost didn't get a ticket, and then second last row on the top. The cam makes it almost first row ;)

@Horxata well your camera looks awesome and delivers amazing sound quality, i've seen The Decemberists live a couple of times, one in Coachella and one in Tucson, that time in Tucson while waiting in line my girlfriend wanted to go to the restroom so i took her to the Hotel we were staying and we got to meet some of the guys in the band, i had only a crappy cellphone camera with me... the guys were very nice and welcome

Yep, very far away. I was in the second-last row on the balcony. Except for one last row, I couldn't have been further away. I made sure the camera I bought would be great quality. Sound is always better in quality than video. Holding the cam still while zooming in is the biggest challenge. Glad it worked. Enjoy the rest.
