In the middle of the song, he switched it. It was a much slower tempo with few notes and had a beauty to it's chords that couldn't even be described. All the girls around him were just happy, smily because they were hearing-a-new-song and they didn't notice that Joe hadn't looked away from me.
I was staring straight into his eyes, and he staring into mine.
I stepped closer to the piano and rested my hands on top of it. He never looked away - he was completely locked on me.
The music he played kept going, then words crept out of his lips and I truly listened to everything he sang.

i hear ya. I write a lot too and my songs kinda......suck.....a lot. lol. I wrote like one good song so far and the rest r all like downhill. But we're young and we're gonna face a lot of emotion. we'll write more good music. :]
