  • Hamelin is very much out of his element here - though very beautiful due to the nature of the music and Hamelin stretching it to its limit. But Hamelin has no feel for the rhythm and style of articulation great Spanish musicians perform with and Spanish composers expected in their music. Sure, this is a nice alternate view. But let's not go overboard and say this performance is great when passages like 2:45-3:05 and many others completely lack the charm many others give it.

  • Ce n'est que du bonheur ...

  • This is music at it's extreme, can't describe it otherwise, beautiful....

  • Close your eyes and melt away.

  • Thanks for uploading this. As a guitarist, I hate to say that Albeniz's name is mostly associated with the guitar, but his most beautiful pieces are piano exclusive. And Hamelin is such a virtuoso! XD
