Bitless show jumping! Razamataz from Vanbrook Equestrian Centre is the 2004 and 2008 Adult/Child Trillium Champion. Please enjoy his first ride in the Nurtural Bitless Bridle, May 10, 2009. Coach Liz Nelson and rider Nicole McFaddin demonstrate a great way to test out the Nurtural Bitless Bridle. Please visit www.nurturalhorse.com for more information.

  • I've got a Nurtural and I'm really happy with it, just tried it for the first time and it went soooo well!

  • @Andrea9514 My filly rides in a hackamore, and will turn and stop with just a lift of the rein, but she will not accept a bit. She hates bits, and won't do anything that I ask of her in one. I've seen a few bitless bridles that actually look like they can help develop a softer hand though. The one I had wasn't one of those, that's why I made that comment before. lol I can't ride my gelding without a bit though, he pays no attention to anything else.

  • @Mdequifever my horses will throw a fit if anyone sticks a bit in their mouth, they prefer being ridden bitless. If anything, I have become able to use lighter contact with them and I have a better relationship with my horses now, than I did when I rode and trained them with bits.

  • @MsHorselover8 there is no regulations for what kind of bit you use in hunter or jumper

  • you actually develop a lighter contact with a bitless bridle as it uses poll action

  • Can you use these in hunter shows?

  • usually if you have a horse you can ride in a halter and lead you can ride them in a hackamore or "bitless bridle" some horses have hard faces and don't give well to it, most horses I train once I have them trained for you they will ride in anything. Just depends on the amount of control you have over your horse if you don't have control with out a bit it is something you need to work on

  • Awesome!

  • I don't like bitless bridles, a lot of people develop harder hands from riding in them, and not all horses like them.

  • wow thats really great for his first ride in a nurtural bridle! its usually difficult to stop a horse without a bit in their bridle the first few times but he did very nicely! XD
