  • @gosst60 ....no acres needed only a bit of land 1metre x1 metre ...1 hive = 90+ Kg Honey. single hive in suburban back yarde. I guess it depends on your local council regulationss, but here in Australia in most places up to 2 hives are permissible. There are even people living in High rise apartments that have a hive on the roof.

  • How do you filter the honey from the small bits of wax and whatnot? Just pour it through a strainer?

    I used two strainers.... a coarse one and a very fine one.
