Full moon outside my house (Jefferson City, MO).
"The moon's average distance from us is about 238,855 miles (384,400 km). Friday night it will be just 221,560 miles (356,567 km) away. It will be 14 percent bigger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than some other full moons during the year," according to NASA

  • Technorg, what u saw was a lunar eclipse...

  • this is the biggest moon of the year? in october, maybe september, i saw the moon as big as big as a tennis ball with a reddish shade. still cool though

  • That moon was cool. From my house, I could see the moon like right there bright, shinning throught the whole sky revealing the clouds. It was beautiful. and, today it was the same but, it was kinda closer and orange. It was so cool seeing it close to a river. Wished I had a camera.

  • i know...camera's suck!
