it doesnt seem fair that you are all pouncing on ricky, if phil was still alive and brian and scott were the ones who had been replaced you guys wouldnt be moaning, it was scott and brian who wanted to get the band back together, and ricky was chosen because he was good friends with the scott and brian and he fit in well with the band, not because he was a copy of phil, no one will ever be fill and ricky has said on many occasions he isnt trying to be phil hes just trying to keep the music alive

The comparisons are indeed unfair...we all loved what Phil Lynott gave us, but to bash the hell out of Scott and Brian for wanting to tour the TL band one last time? Bollocks.....Ricky has done a fine job, doing the music justice while not attempting to be a "Phil clone". And for those pitching a bitch about Vivian Campbell playing with the band.....he'd have been a better fit than John Sykes even way back when.
