His suggestion to swing parallel to the floor is an amazingly effective tip. Doing so allows you to be prepared for the oncoming ball, to meet it with options. I found that swinging this way gave me accuracy, power -- without a lot of effort -- and direction. The ball moves nicely to the corners. My opponents suddenly find me tougher to play.
I am puzzled why he didn't repeat this great pointer on the backhand video. Swing parallel to the floor on that side too, and use about 80% effort.

Thanks so much for all your videos. They are awesome for a beginner. Could you make a video of how to hit the ball when it hits the side and back walls? Those are really difficult for me.
