Project for Awesome 2011: Balik Bayan Books

Balik Bayan Books is a non-profit organization, started by University of Maryland student Tam Nguyen, which collects books of all kinds and donates them to schools and universities in the Philippines, many of which are crowded, lack adequate funds, and use outdated textbooks.

If you live in the Washington DC area, you can donate books in person in the lobby of the Stamp Student Union on the University of Maryland, College Park campus now through December 21.
