ITN News September 28: Iran test-fires medium-range missiles

Iran has let off medium-range missiles, a day after launching short-range weapons as part of several days of war games.

Revolutionary Guards let off at least two types of short-range missiles on Sunday and tested a multiple missile launcher.

State radio had warned that the Guards would go on to test a missile which Iranian officals claim has a range of around 2,000 km.

That potentially puts Israel and American bases in the Gulf within reach. It was last tested in 2008.

It comes after escalating tension between Iran and the West over nuclear weapons, following Tehran's admission it is building a second uranium enrichment plant.

Iran says its nuclear work is purely to generate electricity.

Well here we go again.

Anyone remember pre Iraq where they were supposed to have missiles which could carry biological/nuclear payloads to parts of Europe?? This sounds like the same warmongering soundbites.

Im sure if you looked into the arsenals of any European or North American country you could find weapons like these, whats the deal?
