Indeed, together with probely Senna the very best! Such a waste to die in a f2 race....his talent lost for ever. Very alert and wel done to remember this lost today already 40 years ago...

Thank you so much for this. I started watching F1 in 1989 and grew up reading about the legend of Jim Clark. I always considered Clark to be the best. What he did and the % stats against really great drivers (Hill, Surtees and for a short while Stewart) is truly staggering. You only have to see how others drivers talked about him. I feel privileged to have seen Senna at his peak too - my modern fave. My two favourites and sadly both no longer with us. May their souls rest in peace.

anyone who raced in f1 in that era are 10x a better driver than the drivers nowadays. That era was the horrible darkside of f1. R.I.P to all that perished in the early years...

I absolutaly agree with you. Moreover if you compare not only the drive style of both but also their careters, are very similar as well as the concentration, the mind power. RIP Jim, RIP Senna.
