fantastic....we also found the place in May 2010, had the same waiter....and when I ordered a Pinot grigio, he gave me attitude offering that I should be drinking a French wine..........I told him I love PG and if they didn't want me to drink it, take it off the wine list....!! Well, we had established our turf, had a great meal and he was a real pro............I'd definitely go back...in fact I will this April!!

OMG, same place! I haven't been back to Paris or France since
that trip in 2008. I REALLY have a strong desire to return, especially since I've been taking French language classes!! I hope you get to return! They may not "love" us, but I think Paris is the most beautiful city in the world and I've seen them all!!!

Cafe Le Montegrosso. I could see right into the kitchen, it was clean
and organized. A British woman not too far from me had 12 garlic buttered snails, a huge rack of lamb with french fries and a raspberry tart to finish it off, also a bottle of wine. The Japanese foursome had soup, salad, lamb chops and dessert for a plat du jour.
Our spaghetti was good, but very expensive, $45 a plate plus salad and two beers. What did we care, it was our last night in Paris.
Paris IS a moveable feast!!!
