@theusnavymonster The video mike is probably good enough to capture the dialog being slightly directional.I thought you had ordered the video mike and wind jammer.

@ghough12 ohhhh...that makes sense. Just to hear your opinion, for making a crime movie, where dialogue is quite important, which would you get...Rode VideoMic, StereoMic or any other? R+M :)

@theusnavymonster The micro boom pole has 1/4 threaded stud at the end of it and this simply screws into the 1/4 threaded hole in the baseplate of the rode video mike

@theusnavymonster On the underside of the mike are 2 threaded holes, one for 1/4inch and the other 3/8inch mounting studs. Simple screw the mike onto the boom pole threaded end and you are away!
