I made this life sized pug pinata for Carl. He brought it to the office and everyone thought he brought a real dog to work. The filling hole is hidden under an ear flap. I use an Iwata eclipse SBS airbrush with acrylic paints. Future floor polish is a great cheap high gloss clear coat.

  • Thank you. I just referenced pug photos for proportion. The pug was made with strips of cardboard glued together that you can see at 2:53. One strip of cardboard can become the spine, then I make rings (like ribs) to fill the body shape. I build the legs as if they were intersecting ellipsoids. As I built major body parts, I leave gluing major joints for last so that I can fine tune their positions.

  • Thanks very much. You are quite an artist.
