Hey guys. I'm doing a rocket like this for my science assignment and I would just like to know how you guys made it stand upside down without it spilling out. thanks :)
@billieee13 Well this was a couple years ago, but it wasn't a difficult build. The PVC pipe was just a few inches in diameter (enough for a soda bottle to fit inside) and about 10 inches long. One end of the PVC had a few strips of duct tape covering the end, which gave the pipe a top. The bottle was filled woth chlorine pool chemicals and a bit of isopropyl alcohol, then the bottle was capped and put upside down inside the pipe. You can see there was a decent delay as the pressure built up.
