Author Robert Jeschonek hosts Comic Book World episode 3, a cable access TV show that aired in 1987 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Jeschonek went on to write for DC Comics and other publishers. His 2011 young adult fantasy novel from Clarion Books, MY FAVORITE BAND DOES NOT EXIST, was named one of BOOKLIST's Top Ten First Novels for Youth. His story, "Fear of Rain," was nominated for the British Fantasy Award, and his STAR TREK story, "Our Million-Year Mission," won the grand prize in Pocket Books' nationwide Strange New Worlds contest.     I agree with you on most of your comments. But, I disagree with your comment on Superman # 5. I read that during my senior year in high school , and really enjoyed the story. Yes, it is not the most original plot, but it was fun !! And Superman SHOULD appeal top all ages. I enjoyed ALL the great DC & Marvel comic books of that era. ( Much , moreso than now . )
