The movie " The Killing Field" was showing in a morning of Man and Art class which had around 500 students attended at the common hall in my university. By the end of the movie the hall was so quiet like it was empty. We all were slightly crying...

SAD.. I wont forget the pictures of young people scared to death as they prepare to be killed.

Moving story, l visited Cambodia recently and after seeing the horror of S21 and the killing fields l went to the National Palace. It was wonderful seeing many children there in school groups taking pride in their nation

I am a Son of Cambodian in Canada. I would like to express deeply sadness to the killing field and proud to Dith Pran. You are the legend. I wish to serve my country when I go back there again.

He is a true hero, a unsung legend. He embodies the goodness of human character and humanity's slow quest to overcome the darkest days and strive for human dignity. What a great story of survival and the win of hope and grit over evil. Everybody should make 'The Killing Fields' an essential viewing.

Haing Ngor, Dith Pranh, now VANN Nath ...
They spent their life to tell the world about the tragicity in Cambodia 1975 to 1979.
Genocide is still going on, in Burma, in Tibet.
We all must do our best to honor these three men, as well as all victims of the Khmers Rouges. We must act, cry, pray, to stop these killing Fields to take place again actually.
R.I.P.

Very inspirational person right here
What upsets me is that this video has been here for more than a year, yet it got only 6000 views, while the stupid American Idol videos get gazillions of hits in a day. People aren't paying attention even to such a big figure like Mr. Pran who survived one of the worst genocides in 20th century and is trying to say the last words to educate the world. No wonder people are still killing each other somewhere in the world.
I hope he reunited his friends who got killed by Khmer Rouge in heaven.

Dith Pran was an amazing human being, as he gave selflessly to aid the victims of the Pol Pot regime.
Dith is to be admired for the courageous way in which he survived the horrors of the killing fields, and then rebuilt his life in the United States.
