A Whale of a Tale

I had the opportunity to swim with Keiko, the star of "Free Willie," in Mexico City. More importantly, our company was one of the many who helped to get this magnificent creature released back into the ocean.

Awesome chance to get to ride a whale like that. And such a famous one! Did you first have to get used to eachother?

It was an amazing experience! I read up on Orca's and then met with a marine biologist here in the states before the trip.

In Mexico City, I played with Keiko for about an hour before getting in the tank. Then I was in the tank for about an hour. He was very gentle and graceful. I guess you could say we hit it off pretty quickly.

you are the luckiest person in the world i love killer whales even more so after free willie, it's sad to think that keiko is dead now but atleast he really did get to be free.
