Norfolk Southern 31J - Canadian Pacific 165

October 13, 2007: CP Rail 165 with two CP AC4400CW's heads westbound on the NS Harrisburg Line around 6 AM on the Saturday morning. NS 31J previously had an Approach signal, which explains the slow speeds. NS 31J is very late this morning, normally passes by at midnight. Train will run up the NS Buffalo Line, then CP/D&H Sunbury Line to Binghamton, NY. Train runs out of Philadelphia every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening. 30J runs on the Harrisburg Line every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. Both trains are Intermodal/Manifest combos. Rarely do these Canadian Pacific trackage right trains make daylight appearances. 4-way crossing Richland, PA.

I never knew there was a "Holiday train". I just googled it and it looks totally awsome!

I often get this train late in the evening on my survey cam when going to drexel after working at CVS, he's often part of the evening rush with WPCA01, Q301&Q191 on the hi line.

Christmas was great! Considering the CP Holiday train had the same type of engine, AC4400CW, in this video, the horn should sound the same, K3. :)
