I know exactly how that is.
Sometimes it gets even worse if you drink, and then when you get home you just feel like crap because you could have done this, and you could have done that, but you didn't do anything. You kinda feel like your in the middle of a black whole.
i started to pull my self together, cause my problem was that i didn't like when guys wanted me, i only wanted to chase the guys that were very hard, and then i didn't do talk to them anyways because i was to scared! ARGH!

Try honesty. The opener" Hi I'm usually shy...but tonight I'm feeling gregarious. You look interesting and I'd like to talk to you.(wait for them to say something) Then work in "I'm sorry I'm just rubbish around men." Def(gregarious: outgoingly seeking companionship) If they get it they'll think you're smart if they don't the same. If they ask, tell them "brave". Why it works (more)

Sweet JimJams. Here's a bit of advice. Don't go with friends aka Oliver or others. Solo my friend. Scary I know. Friends are safe places to run to or shields to hide behind, plus they're watching and judging or you think they are. Yuk! Why bring competition, a fun outgoing friend, that's a plan to fail. (more)

I have the same problems with pick-up lines. It almost sounds impossible for me to even imagine talking to some stranger. But hey you know what? Like at least one person said, it's best to regret something you have done rather than something you HAVEN'T done. What is rejection after all? Does it matter so much? What is perfection? Do things have to be perfect the first time? Anyway... hang in there, buddy. I know what it's like to put pressure on oneself.
