Show's how twisted the MGS universe has gotten, they are advertising Private Military Corporations and Military equipment on television... Actually we probably aren't far from this ourselves.

Yeah, you can definitely see how close this hits to home. The Military Industrial machine is just about unstoppable. If theirs wars start people who profit off of war will continue to thrive. For good or for worst... More than likely the former.
Yeah Kojimas talent for mixing social standards with humour and a fantastic story are par to none.

@RushInNinja Agreed. To take your comment one step further, maybe we've already reached this point. This cutscene's certainly making a comment on how military corporations promote themselves in the media- but what's so different from how they promote themselves here in the game and how they do it in contemporary ads? Glamorizing warfare...Kojima's a master at showing us how society works.

dude thats the commercials shown before the game starts, thats what comes on before the actual intro which I am continuing to upload. These are "cameo commercials" I believe for the PMCS like the 2nd one for instance.
