  • Beautiful song by a beautiful band. And the fact that they had the stones to admit they were gay when doing so meant ridicule (aka, Reagan and Thatcher's '80s witchhunt) showed how brave they were. My favorite band is Husker Du, 2/3 of whom are gay. But Mould and Hart couldn't come out because they wisely knew that idiot-record-company-homophobia in the States meant loss of revenue. Also, I'm fairly certain that speed played a role in their tentativeness.. But the bravery of KoD is epic.

  • @BluePedal you could not have said it better - 20 odd years later and this song still sends shivers down my spine. Add some sensational lyrics and you have the making of a great piece of music

  • @BluePedal try sad lovers and giants-life under glass also

  • My favorite KOD song. Just listen to those noises Julian makes with his guitar.
