oh my god what complete imbeciles . I'm not book smart/science smart at all but I even KNEW that would not do anything! and they even drop it with the front side up let alone not even dropping it on another piece of metal or bar. OMG

they will not have part 2 unless they call in a qualified safe cracker. When the safe is drop , the glass within the door is broken setting off the relockers making in even harder to open. cutting the hinges is of no use bcos the safe locks 4 ways.

Exactly! It's obvious they intended to make the safe look tough by dropping out on its back, and perfectly flat, at that -- and -- onto a gravelly surface, where some of the impact energy would dissipate in the fracturing of the rocks into smaller fragments.
A genuine attempt to crack that safe would have dropped it onto one (or both) of two potential targets: part of the lock mechanism in the door face, or one of the cube corners, in an effort to distort the overall shape.
