Why do the kids have tags on them when they drive off?

It was done to be able to identify the children in case they get killed in an air raid. Also, hundreds of London children were sent off to the countryside to protect them agaisnt the bombings as well.

Thanks for putting this up here! I was on this program! My dad says, 'We're the Granger family' at 03:22 :D I'm the little girl with the yellow outfit on. Haa! And my sister is talking at 03:26....wish we'd got chosen to be the family to live in the house! We got very close though!

War is so sad. I hate to know people and animals suffer, especially children. I don't care which race or religion they are, they are my fellow human beings......I guess I'm an over emotional person. :/
