Continuing on the daily painting challenge.
Elizabeth Gilbert muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses -- and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person "being" a genius, all of us "have" a genius. It's a funny, personal and surprisingly moving talk. For more interesting talks check out www.ted.com

I just watched both of these videos and realized at the end that I was holding my breath.
Watching you work and listening to her talk had me mesmerized. I felt this HUGE weight being lifted off of me. I can now breathe easier.
Thank you so very much!

OMG!!!!! I've actually done what Tom Waits did! Look up into the sky and say, "Excuse me, can't you see that I am driving?" (But I asked mine to come and visit me as soon as I got home where I had paper and pencil.) Hahahahaha. I really love this soundtrack Gary.
