  • A request:

Our critical analyses have focused on creationism's assault on science. However, we have been searching for a video to use for a critical analysis which actually details the "evidence" for creation. In other words, we are looking for creationists who document the supporting evidence for their claims, not attack evolutionary biology out of ignorance. We are unsure if such a presentation actually exists which is why we are enlisting your help.

  • My collaborator and I would like to issue a challenge to the creationists who continue to troll the comment pages on our videos:

We have posted 4 videos made by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute which cover topics in evolutionary biology. The challenge is really quite simple: construct a fully-cited critical analysis similar to those which we have made. The lectures were given to high school students; so, the excuse that they are "too complex" is not going to work.

  • Anyone who sees this: Vote! Voting will dilute the negative effects of the creationist vote bot.

This is an excellent video, and certainly should not have a 3/5 star rating. Thank you for uploading this.

  • i think the reason no creationist will take up your challenge is because they are probably the most scientifically illiterate of all population groups in the US...

"God said it; I believe it; that settles it."

To even consider a need for any external or concrete "evidence" beyond the holy Word (as inerrantly revealed in the Bible) is retrograde, indicative of a fatal insufficiency of faith. Seeking objective, "factual" support is, literally, of the Devil!

    In other words:

"Evidence? We ain't got no evidence. We don't need no evidence. I don't have to show you any stinking evidence!"

    Enjoy your wait.

    Hope you brought sandwiches.

  • @ExDodo "we r looking 4 creationists who document... supporting evidence 4 their claims"

In 1 of those old "sayings" that may never really have existed be4 someone said they did (eg, the alleged 47 or 63 Inuit words for snow, or the "ancient Chinese curse," "May u live in interesting times"):

"A peasant will wait 4 a very long time on a hillside be4 a roast duck flies in2 his mouth."

    U wait in vain.

To the ID crew, the only "evidence" needed is:

"God said it; I believe it; that settles it."

  • Former President Jimmy Carter Quote, "There is no need to teach that stars can fall out of the sky and land on a flat Earth in order to defend our religious faith."

Sometime things you like aren't necessarily good for you. We need these video to overcome anti-science junk food.

Actually not true. Muslims, to my experience, seems to be equally backwards.

  • Excellent video, 5 stars from me.

  • Thank you so much for this videos! Five stars.

  • Creationism and Intelligent Design is with some isolated exceptions virtually non-existent in the rest of the world.

  • This just answered a major question I had in the back of my mind about plant genetics.

  • 80% of america needs it more!
