Lmfao at the Trigger Happy ringtone at the start. I wanted to yell - "HELLO. YEAH IM WITH DAVID GILMOUR. GILMOUR! YEAH WITH THE PINK FLOYD AND ALL THAT. CHAO" lmao

@flanaj2 FUNNY.... yeah, i agree the conversation probably wouldn't be long. I don't think I would ask him what his favorite PF song is. Hmmmm, I'd probably ask him how in the hell he came up with so many great solos.

@motokev Good point, only problem is Gilmour would probably only lend you the time it takes to write an autograph resulting in the following conversation:
You: Hey David, great show
David: Thanks
You: So......what's your favourite Floyd song?
David: (walks off)
You: I LOVE YOU DAVID GILMOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think David woke up in a good mood that day lol he is usually far nicer than this but he still seems somewhat uncomfortable with the attention that comes with being a rockstar

It's been said that the worst thing you can do is walk up to your hero and try to speak with him. It's usually a huge let-down and you walk away with a bitter taste in your mouth. Nonetheless, Gilmour and his band Pink Floyd are my favorite musicians ever.

DG still seems like he's not entirely comfortable with his fame, even now. Amazing. And man is he ever starting to look old. Shit! I'm older than he is by a few years, SO HOW OLD AM I GETTING?!?!?

I'm not surprised celebrities hate signing autographs cuz half the people aren't fans, they're just out to make money by selling signed stuff online. Also,, many of the people are demanding, noisy, pushy and rude to the celebrity, when in reality the famous person doesn't have to sign anything if they don't want to, so fans oughta be begging and be polite when asking or they may stop giiving autographs liek some stars already have.
Yes, he sold his London home for 3 million and gave the proceeds to a charity for the homeless......amazing generosity.
