Conan's sword - stolen from a dead warrior in a tomb in the Wastes... wielded at the Battle Of The Mounds... can it really have survived to 2009?

One wonders if it, and Conan ended up like the long dead Warrior King he first took it from? I never read the novels. Did they ever say what happened to Conan after he made himself a King. The end of the movie shows an older Conan graying and sitting a throne. Sort of a sense of his having come full circle to his beginings.

idk about the handle about guard dootling in Schwarzenger's but i do recall the Sumerian scriptings on the actuall blade , or is it Cimerean Sorry, i don't follow the comics

Great display. I've got a Marto Atlantean myself. Beautiful swords, but they have rat tail tangs and are fairly delicate. You could possibly pop the tang just by swinging it around. They are strictly for display only. For that reason, I think the Marto is overpriced. The Albion has a full tang, and is the only one I would trust for swinging and cutting. That being said, I would never pay $3000 for it, or for any sword for that matter.

@Vajrasiddha Yeah I know what you mean. I have a cheap stainless steal samurai sword made in China and I'm too scared to swing it around the room cos it feels like it would break.
If you want battle ready then you'll want the Albion sword. It's a real carbon steal sword. But it costs $3000 :( That's why I was going to buy this one instead, but just found out today that all Marto sword use rat tail tangs, it really put me off. $500 dollars for a wall hanger. I'd rather fork out for the Albion

How's the functionality of it?
Can it chop thru animals,
like the Cold Steel Swords do?
Is it sharp, can it do harm?

Nice use of the branch to display the sword. I'm going to get some small deer-antlers to hang my Conan Father's Sword from.

You're gonna need BIG antlers - I suggest the fossilised antlers of a prehistoric Irish Elk.
