I play the accordion and also do not smile while playing - we do it because we are thinking on the music - that simple ! Perhaps people that plays an instrument understand this better - hope you too. Lana you play beautifully and enjoy all your songs - the best in this world for you ! Saludos.

@Inoitspointless No, I don't think that's a common misconception at all. He probably just mistook it for an Irish melody, just as you might mistake a Canadian accent for an American one. In fact, it looked to my ignorant American eyes like his intent was to praise.
