Michael Bucher's song is calling us to remember that part of history that was and is so destructive to Native Americans.It is a prophetic warning that if we don't remember and understand history, the same thing will happen again. And this time it won't be just Native Americans targeted. There are those who say this is already happening. I call it neocolonialism. It finds its way into our politics through the dismantling of our civil rights. Global marauding i.e. Iraq. The dumbing down of our culture through drugs, alcohol, violence and the relentless destruction of our earth.
