Terra Gold, MA, CYT, E-RYT is a certified yoga therapist, nutritionist and Bhakti Kirtan musician. A yoga instructor fo r over 13 years in the Los Angeles area, Terra was born at Findhorn in Scotland and grew up immersed in the spiritual and metaphysical traditions of yoga, Buddhism, esoteric Christianity and Shamanism. She holds a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, a BA from UCLA in World Arts & Cultures and Dance Movement Therapy and an allied professional degree in Integrative Body Psychotherapy from the Rosenberg-Kitaen Institute. She is a faculty member in Loyola Marymount University's Yoga Therapy Rx Training Program, co-founder of the wellness company Yoga Doctors and she is the acting clinical assistant to Dr. Bong Dal Kim, founder of Emperor's College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, Terra was recently listed as One of the 12 Finest Yoga Therapists in America by Yoga Therapy Today Magazine and she has previously been featured on the cover of LA Yoga Magazine as well as in the widely acclaimed book, Shakti, the Feminine Power of Yoga. She has studied with many teachers over the years including John Friend, Judith Lasater, Erich Shiffman, Lisa Walford, Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller, Larry Payne, PhD. and Shiva Rea.
