in fact, they are starting to discover ways to destroy/dispose of nuclear waste with lasers!

Clearly explained, balanced and rational. Great job :)

how about the thing that uranium is also a finite material. it is going to be available for about 40 to 60 years... BTW where do you took your information from. i need info for my essay on this subject. plz respond when you can.

Thanks for the vid, really informative. Had to do a debate on neclear power and this vid was really helpful. Thanks again :)

You mention hydro-electric as your favorite, and I have to disagree... having lived on both coasts in 2 places with hydro-electric plants, I've seen several native species of fish die off in both places, not only depleting food for us (what really kills me is that native americans in both places lost a huge part of their livelihood, their heritage, everything, when they lost their main protein source!) but also throwing everything off balance for their predators and prey on both ends.

"Millions of years" lol.

good points. thanks for sharing

Why is the other ways other then Nuclear and Fossiles expensive? Because we lack research.
i hope dan shows this to the tribe, good job

In a Universe where everything is in continuous motion it should be possible to create as much energy as we like! We have tidal power formed by the gravitation pull of the Moon this alone could create most of our energy. There should be no need for nuclear power!
Some of the radioactivity has a very short half-life but what people never seem to say is that the activity will never reach zero. So it will never totally go away!

@nickharvey7 Harnessing the energy in the tides would be one of the most difficult and expensive energy generation ideas I can think of of. There isn't really a way to do it, not using current or foreseeable engineering techniques.
