While humility is normally thought of as being the domain of religion, the humility that comes from science, I argue, is far more profound.

  • great research, a truly educational video :)

  • Religion is the last thing I think of when I hear the word humility. The religious people I knew were among the most arrogant people I ever met, meanwhile science is always making people realize their limitations and strive to improve their understanding. Not to mention the realization that we occupy a universe so hugely VAST we mean less to it than an E-coli bacteria in our intestine means to us.

  • Amazing video, thank you. :-)

  • Love your videos so much!

  • I guess the title gave it away but as son as you said humility I pictured the stars/universe etc. Great video :)

  • great vid

  • As always... great vid.

  • Well done! Thank you

  • The first mental image of humility that came to my mind was caves. It's humbling to think how thousands of years of dripping water can make the most amazing stalactites and stalagmites.
