Here we are lowering the basement floor height inside a old 4 story factory building, from the begining the height was 2m, and when finished it should be 3m.
The 12cm thick concrete did break with the trackloader so there was no need for hammers, but the soil contained really big rocks so bucket penetration was really tough in some spots.
It's not even that old for being a trackloader, it's a 1989 model. But it shure is the best available machine for the job!
To do this with some smaller machinery would have been a project for life...
Smaller machines would have required hamering of the concrete slab and a lot of rock blasting, when the rocks weights more than the minimachines combined.
