not the best voice of the monkees but the coolest and the cutest and very very talented
lookin good Peter!
i dont understand what he's aying in the beginning though (knickers?)

@kawabunga66 and eugeneBo.....actually guys, the tune was first offered by B and H to the Liverpool Five in 1965 when they were recording their "Arrive " album in LA. Their version is very edgy and much better than any that followed....it has recently turned up on You Tube and well worth checking out.

Terrible audio. Very muddy sound but you cant help that with the inbuilt mic on a camera. Nice to see this guy still doing it and they do sound like a tight unit
-
I heard that he was multi talented, that Peter knew how to play a number of stringed instruments.
-
I think I have one of his guitars, or so I was told, you can see it in my video "Deep Blue dJinn in the studio, Jan 2011" . Its an awsome strat, ash body, blond neck. This video makes me wanna netflix the old monkeys episodes.

Looks like yer pretty pissed, Peter, but shit! you can play the guitar, hey! (at least rhythms!!)
-
He and Nez were definetly the music talent of the monkees.

@mnpd007 Yea that's a bit irritating. i'm not sure if he's hitting that C or just delaying it a bit. Also reversing the order of the verses. It's all good. The guy still rocks!

@atisaseret He is not a screwed up person at all, times have changed and so has Peter from many years ago. He is not an A**hole. Please don't refer to someone like that ever again >:(

Pretty good version of a tune first recorded by the Liverpool Five from the UK. Their version has recently turned up on You Tube . It's af******g knockout and well worth checking out the obvious influence it had on the Monkees, Sex Pistols and Revere and the Raiders
-
Very cool. Glad to see Peter still rockin'!
Fact is I knew it was Boyce and Heart who created the song but never knew it was for Paul Reveere and the Raiders. I always thought the Monkees performed the song first.

You are correct. It was recorded and on the Paul Revere and the Raiders LP "Midnight Ride" before the Monkees recorded it and changed some of the original lyrics.
