  • This was the second most exciting Belmont I've ever seen, just behind 1998's loooong stretch drive nose-out of Real Quiet.

  • Considering Silver Charm was all out to beat Free House, there was nothing he could do about Touch Gold.

Touch Gold was the better horse that day and was the deserving winner.

  • This was the spring I discovered horse racing. Rewatching it now, how awesome were all of those 3yr olds? Super game, and a fast bunch.

  • Freeze it at 5:02 . What raw power and passion!! What racing is all about.

  • When Lesley Visser interviewed the Silver Charm connections they didn't seem very upset.

  • Yep, that's it.

  • Dave Johnson is the race caller. Bummer for Baffert, 2 Triple crowns lost in the last step 2 yrs in a row.

  • OOO I THINK ITS DAVE JHONSON

  • yao whats the name of the race caller, I LOVE THE WAY HE SAY "AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME"

  • i was so UNBELIEVABLY upset at the end of this race. i loved silver charm. he was GORGEOUS.

  • Stevens asks, "How much you got, J.D.?" (Jerry Dale Bailey) Bailey, on Wild Rush, responds, "Not much." Stevens replies, "Free House is right here . . . the battle's on."

  • It's actually Gary stevens asking Jerry Bailey "JB how much you got?" not Bailey asking Stevens....
