youre the best on tutorials dude gz :D

It's a great tutorial, really, but 6,5 minutes and all you do is to make a plate move in one dimension. This is a complicated mod...

dude, THANK YOU. Wiremod is confusing, and this explains them REALLY well.

The best thing about these tutorials is that you explain what these things actually do, and leave improvisation up to the viewer. Most wire tutorials just tell you exactly what to place and what to wire, and you have no other knowledge than that. This teaches you what the stuff does so you can figure out your own wire contraptions. Great tut!

I don't wanna be dick but I can just use normal buttons and set the thrusters so one is back and one is foward

if you actually listened to what I said in the tutorial you can obviously do it that way.
This isn't a "how to make a moving platform" tutorial, it's a learning wiremod tutorial that happens to use a moving platform as an example. I'm just using this example to teach you about gates.

Hey thanks, these tuts really help me.
However, I just wanted to ask; if it's possible to press a button while in a seat? Cuz then I'd have to press E, but then I also leave the seat, which is quite annoying. So yeah, is it possible?
Thanks.

When I used to play 2 years ago it was not possible. The best way to control things while in a seat is to use the Pod Controller (this may have changed since I played).
Basically it takes input from your keys when in any kind of "vehicle" (such as a seat). Watch tutorial 19 for more info on the pod controller.
