leafs need mayers rosehill and orr on one line, no other team will mess with the leafs then

Definately true. And Mayers has a great intangible for a fourth liner, even though he's a winger, he can play center and he's fairly good at faceoffs. So I could see it working, considering fourth line time isn't that high.
I can't deny my dissapointment though, Hollweg and Mayers really did little to no real enforcing. I was pretty dissapointed to see Schenn have to fight.

meh , i agree but i can see it happening because mayers took a big step back in point production not that alot was expected but if you look at brian burkes team its not unusual to have to fighters on one line, parros and may played together

Him and Orr are both little to no flair guys. Mayers has more than Orr, but the reason he's there is to punch people not score goals. I don't see the need to have 2 fighters on one line. He could be useful if Orr got hurt, but Mayers really didn't do much enforcing while he's been here.
