Two is one, one is none. He should have more than just the 1 multi-tool in that bag... Also, no light source? No weapons of any kind? No communication devices of any kind? No way to start a fire--both a source of light & heat as well as a weapon or a tool for signaling others. Billy needs more stuff.

BTW, that was dangerous, having him unpack that bag with zombies loose in the streets. You could have gotten him killed!

What about a Red Cross First Aid Textbook? Just in case you break an arm or get stabbed/shot by another survivor. Also alot of protein bars. Their light and you need protein to keep you going. And this is just a theory, Has anyone heard of that shark proof suit divers use? If sharks can't bite through that im sure a zombie can't.

Wierd stuff. They are just talking about a backpack with gear and supplies. I don't get it. You always wonder what kids are doing after school if they are afraid to go out for sports. Now you know.

But with nothing to protect that pack, he's going to lose it to the first non-shambler he comes across who decides he wants it. And if the zompocalypse happens during cold weather and power is knocked out (Sandy ring a bell?), a way to keep warm will be important.

Preparedness is still preparedness, zompocalypse or otherwise. Same sorts of stuff are still useful in other situations. 'Sides, I was just havin a little fun.

It's a bug-out bag, not an INCH (I'm Never Coming Home).

It's for 3 days or so survival, not long-term wilderness survival.

If it were an INCH, the pack would have been twice that size (eyeball guess, that was probably 3,000 cubic inches volume), excluding anything strapped outside the bag.
