This is a single-song clip of a concert film I filmed (on my own over the course of four shows) back in 2006 for The Birthday Massacre.

  • I wonder if you recorded the "intro" of at least one of their concerts... =)

  • @LullabyMassacre perhaps ;) Perhaps at six different shows, too.

  • @Chrono256 I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that this was quite early on in their first big tour - it takes quite of bit of touring mixed with voice training to really solidify a singer's voice, which I think she's built up into a very solid touring voice nowadays. Another big reason why TBM no longer plays "The Dream" live, is that, frankly, Chibi's voice changed so much since they'd written the song and honestly it's out of her best singing ranges now.

  • Anyone knows where and when they played this gig?

  • This video includes footage from four different concerts during the "Broken Minds" tour (their first North American tour). Shows include Anaheim, CA; Denver, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; and San Francisco, CA.

  • Oh excellent job!

I love this song, and TBm doesn't often play this song on stage. So disappointed :(

But this video is just amazing !

  • It's incredible how much Chibi's voice has changed!

  • @Chrono256 Speak for yourself dude, her voice is as beautiful as ever to my ears :)

  • @chadpeter or a venue with a lame soundman...

  • @Chrono256 monitor speakers make a huge difference....if she couldn't hear herself in her monitor it's basically blind guess singing. You are at the mercy of the soundboard guy. I've been there and it's not fun. That's why the first goal in sound check is making sure the vocal monitor is at the right volume

  • @Chrono256 I just saw her on 8/14 and no she was awesome live didnt suck at all

  • best song of them so far. my opinion. they released a live CD without this one. big mistake...
