I love her voice...she's very talented in my opinion and I hope I can see here in concert someday. To me, her voice sounds like a combination of Anita O'Day and Sarah Vaughan...though it may be a while before she's as skilled as such legends. Also really liked her Ella-esque "Something's Gotta Give".
So what! that's not the point, and I don't think she has a poor voice, she has a different aproach, Jazz needs fresh young blood! check out Curtis Stigers, he's not in the tradition of Jon Hendriks, Louis Armstrong, and he's great in a different way! it reminds me of something Frank Zappa once said "Jazz is not dead ,it just smells funny", and Duke Ellington used to say "There's only two kinds of music, the good one, and the other kind"
