'Guide ini Oh JAH' By Yasus Afari & Dub Vijaan band..

A TIMELY PRAYER FOR ALL HUMANITY

Consistent with ancient wisdom, knowledge and understanding, Jamaica's newest reggae band "DUB VIJAAN" has invoked the spirit and blessings of THE MOST HIGH, by asking through prayer for guidance and protection for their first recording aptly entitled "Guide ini Oh JAH".

The very uplifting "Guide ini Oh JAH" was written by Rastafarian YASUS AFARI in moment of divine intervention and was first performed by Yasus Afari and DUB VIJJAN at a special recording event for the Yasus Afari's latest CD: "YASUS AFARI LIVE - IN KINGSTON" as a timely prayer for humanity. The recording was staged at the legendary Bob Marley Museum, Kingston, Jamaica, at DUB VIJAAN's successful "Public Secret Launch" which was held on Sunday 5th September 2010.

This unusually intriguing and inspirational "prayer-song" skilfully demonstrates the power of reggae music as a medium to bring about change and empowerment, whilst entertaining and educating, using music as a strategic medium and change agent.

"Guide ini Oh JAH" has been released by DUB VIJAAN Records as a single and the music video will be released before the end of September.

The peculiar and unprecedented mission of the DUB VIJAAN Movement is to engineer and inspire spiritual growth and social renewal via "wholistic" intervention and transformation. This will be orchestrated using music and the arts to stimulate social intervention, renewal and transformation.
