I love how Christopher Reeve looks at the camera at the end of that segment & they play the ABC Sunday Night at the Movies theme. An inexplicable magic! *sigh* The 80's...nobody did it better!

Most movies were shortened for time, but ABC's first airing of "Superman" had nearly 30 minutes of scenes not shown in theaters! At the time it was a major treat...now most of those extra scenes are on the extended edition DVD.
