@Mute5916 That's because it's takes years to develop good speaking skills. You can't learn those skills in one semester. Also 4h kids are motivated to give good speeches. It's not just another class that's required to graduate. It's sad that schools don't spend more time teaching kids to speak in front of others. It's a very valuable skill.

It's sad that the young people in 4-h are so much better at giving speeches than those in college speech classes.
