The Pacific Animal Therapy Society was founded in 1988 by Sadey Guy, and operates as an active animal therapy program on southern Vancouver Island.
P.A.T.S. volunteers take their pets to visit at retirement homes, hospitals and other facilities where residents benefit from interaction with pets. All P.A.T.S. therapy pets are behavior tested before they are accepted into the program.
One such visit was to the Mount Newton Adult Day Care Center in Saanichton, BC. where Sadey Guy with four dogs, two cats and a llama were filmed by Shaw Cable.
